City Matters magazine is a publication we produce in-house four times a year. A colleague and I do all the editorial planning and writing for each magazine, giving guidance to our graphic designer for how we'd like each page laid out. I am responsible for all my own research, interviews, photoshoots, etc. The magazine is mailed out to around 50k households in League City, Texas. We've received top honors for the magazine, and were awarded "Best Magazine" by the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers in 2024. Click the photo to read the fall 2025 issue.
